Amdal Residential Care was originally founded in 1995 by three partners: Dan Ansel, Charles Mack and Doug Drumright. Amdal Residential Care originally owned and operated Assisted Living Facilities specializing in Alzheimer’s/Dementia in Southern California. Thet word Amdal was derived from their names:
During the late 90’s, Amdal Residential Care saw an emerging need for care services to be provided to seniors in-their homes. In 1999, our CEO, Deanne Martin-Soares, RN came on board to create an In-Home Care division of Amdal. Amdal In-Home Care's first location was in Rancho Mirage, near an Amdal Residential Care location. In January of 2000 we opend an office on the Central Coast. In later 2000 the Tulare office was opened and the Corporate functions of Amdal In-Home Care were moved there. By 2001, Amdal had divested itself of the assisted living facilities to concentrate solely on in-home senior care. In 2003 we expanded to Fresno, that same year the desert office was sold because of the great distance between locations.
Amdal In-Home Care has grown to be one of the largest, if not the largest, in-home care agency in Central California. We have helped literally thousands of seniors remain safely at home. We have also spent a decade perfecting our support and documentation systems that allow us to provide the most comprehensive care available in our area. |
