Janice Mason
I have been a resident of Tulare for 30 years. My career focus for the past four years has been in Senior Care. I as the Director of Service Development for Amdal In-Home Care. This takes me into the communities of Tulare, Kings, and Fresno Counties on a daily basis and occasionally to San Louis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. I am entering my Second term as President for 2004/2005 of Tulare/Kinds County Continuity of Care Association, a networking group dedicated to sharing knowledge and building awareness of senior related services. I last served in this capacity for 2002/2003. I have been a member of the Porterville Elder Resource Center (PERC) for the past three years. I maintain an active membership in the Senior Coalition Breakfast Meeting networking group. I enjoy keeping my knowledge current and have several Certificates of Completion for Alzhiemer's Dementia Care seminars. I have a passion for understanding and sharing issues that face the senior population in our community. I also currently server as Co-Chairperson for the Tulare Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and am a member of the Leadership Tulare Class of 2005. I am the proud mother of four and "Grandma Jan" to my four wonderful grandkids. I love to spend time with my family and travel to the coast when there is extra time. I look forward to becoming more informed and, "Is it possible?" more involved in the City of Tulare. |
